After a few (not-so-short) days of instruction, you’ll be ready to take your field exam! This is your first step toward officially becoming a Building Analyst Technician and serves as a prerequisite for the Building Analyst Professional Certification Exam.
We’ve provided a detailed walkthrough below so you’ll know exactly what to expect. The exam video is divided into three parts for easy viewing and can be used as a study aid. This will also give you an idea of the average field exam duration—usually about 1.5 hours from start to finish. You’ll have a total of 4 hours to complete the exam to accommodate any challenges you might encounter. During class, you’ll see a full demonstration of the field exam and even have the opportunity to conduct a practice run yourself. Don’t worry—you’ve got this!
We understand it can feel overwhelming at first, but we’re here with you every step of the way… even after you’ve earned your certifications!
